In June we headed up to Vernon to hang out with Kent’s best man Joe and his wife, Sherry. Weather was gorgeous and hot and we had a fantastic time! So much fun…
The water at Okanagan Lake seriously looks like a Caribbean ocean (not as warm but still)
Some of us were having a little too much fun
Is it warm enough? Yup! Time for a dip…
After our dip, we hiked. I “hung the baby bump dangerously close to the precipice.” My mom does not like this photo very much.
At least I didn’t take the baby cliff jumping like these guys down below!
Drying out at the top. And look what we found already carved into the bench! (No, we are not vandalizers.)
Back at the house, Kent was up to his usual antics with Joe. Can anyone explain what’s behind the fascination with the tea cozy?
Even I joined in the tea cozy fun. It IS cozy!
And we ended off with another swim at Kal Beach. Who doesn’t love Vernon in the summer?
Next we headed to Kent’s parents’ in Kelowna. Here is a shot of their beautiful backyard and the lake behind. Enjoying breakfast…
The lovebirds that started this whole thing…
Kent curls up with his e-reader on the swing.
