We Outta Here!

Moving Day. As a wife (and now a mother), I have in many ways been waiting for this day for over 4 years!

Don’t get me wrong, our time with Ryan and Joanna was awesome. We became great friends and have had a lot of fun together.

But it’s time. Time to find our own space – a permanent place that we can call home.

Moving Day was actually waaaaay better than I expected! While we waited for our professional movers to come, we actually had time to grab a coffee from Tim Horton’s and sit in the sun!

Thanks to lots of dedicated friends who:

  • cleaned
  • hauled
  • scrubbed
  • packed
  • unpacked
  • organized
  • walked Brooke in the park
  • waited while Brooke slept in the park
  • bought us groceries
  • stocked our new fridge
  • and hauled some more

We even had time to all go out for Chinese Food after! (Apparently the Dragon Fort right near our house has the best Chinese Food in the Lower Mainland.)

And now we are in our new place!

Brooke thinks she’s gonna be sleeping in our bed!

Grateful to everyone, including God for His provision. It’s the start of a new chapter!

Baby Dedication on Mother’s Day

May 9th was Mother’s Day and we had an awesome celebration! Kent’s parents came from Kelowna, we had a gorgeous sunny day, and Brooke was dedicated at our church, Level Ground.

The photos are pretty grainy and far away, but here we are:

There were 5 baby girls dedicated!

Then we go ready to head to Delair Park…

All our playing really tuckered her out!
